Just a quick lunch stop but what a find - very affordable but excellent quality. One of the best souvlakis I’ve had and best the Greek coffee. Such lovely friendly service too.

We had the best experience at Anthos! The food, atmosphere, staff and price is top level. You don't need to look anywhere else. It's wonderful to have your morning or evening coffee while watching the people pass by or eating your dinner in front of the castle. The price is very good and the hospitality is unmatched. Wonderful value for money.

Great place to stop for coffee, lunch and dinner even if not staying in Anthousa. Lovely food and the service is excellent. One of the gems of the village

Fantastic place! The owner is very friendly and the food is excellent, especially considering that it's quite cheap (€19 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks)

Nice location in the heart of the village Αnthousa. We were sitting there in the evening for a very good Mojito and a beer. The owner is very kind and friendly and we felt welcome and comfortable. A look on the menu showed a good selection of local foods. Thank you and best wishes for the future!

I read a prior review about this bistro/taverna and decided to try it since our accommodation was so close. The owner/host is a young local man, bringing life to this establishment. Great food, and a perfect place to watch village life go by. Not expensive and with the sound of cards being played by the locals in the corner, an authentic Greek experience.

Lovely place to sit and watch village life. The young owner has just newly reopened his family business is lovely to talk to and very attentive and polite. We were looking for a sandwich as a quick bite to eat and he made us a lovely toastie with delicious coffee. We wish him well and know he will make all his plans come true. Definitely recommend

Der Chef ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Er wird teilweise von seiner Mutter in der Küche unterstützt.
Von den Speisen auf der kleinen Karte können von uns Tzatziki, Saganaki, Hähnchen-Souvlaki und ganz besonders die Lammkoteletts empfohlen werden.
Zu den alkoholhaltigen Getränken werden immer Meze gereicht. Auch der Hausbrandt-Kaffee ist sehr lecker. Hier muss jeder gewesen sein!Μετάφραση
See and be seen. Ideal location in the center of Anthousa. The terrace is elevated above the road leading through the village. Everyone has to pass by here. The view of the Ali Pasha Castle ruins above the village is impressive. And even more beautiful at night with the illumination. The chef is very attentive and friendly. He is sometimes assisted in the kitchen by his mother. From the dishes on the small menu, we highly recommend tzatziki, saganaki, chicken souvlaki, and especially the lamb chops. Meze is always served with alcoholic beverages. The Hausbrandt coffee is also delicious. Everyone has to try this place!

Wir wählten dieses Lokal für unsere Kaffeepause nach dem Besuch des Wasserfalls und wir bekamen hier den besten Cappuccino Freddo unseres Urlaubs. Der junge Besitzer sehr freundlich , bemüht und gesprächig. Schöne Terrasse direkt an der Straße, man ist mitten im Geschehen. Rundherum eine absolute Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder.

We chose this place for our coffee break after visiting the waterfall, and we had the best cappuccino freddo of our vacation. The young owner was very friendly, helpful, and chatty. A lovely terrace right on the street, so you're right in the middle of the action. All in all, an absolute recommendation; we'll be back.

Op de terugweg van het kasteel hier even gestopt om wat te eten en te drinken. Goede koffie en goed eten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. De locals doen hier ook gezellig een drankje.
